Duplicati is a free and open source backup solution. Its available for Windows, Mac and also Linux. Today we are going to guide you how to install Duplicati on OpenSUSE Leap 42.3. You can backup your files to various cloud storage using Duplicati. You can also put your backup on an external drive or network shares.
Steps to Install Duplicati on OpenSUSE Leap
First, we need to download Duplicati RPM package from the official website. You can download the latest Duplicati RPM from this link. Save it to your local directory. That is a ZIP file. We need to extract it. Simply right click on the file and choose Extract here.
It will produce a new directory called something like this: duplicati-2.0.2.1_beta_2017-08-01. Now open the directory and open Terminal inside that directory. You can simply right click in the folder and choose Open in Terminal. Now execute this command to run Duplicati
mono Duplicati.Server.exe
Now open web browser and type: localhost:8200
Done. Now you have Duplicati installed and run on OpenSUSE Leap 42.3.
