First, Download this App and install it on your Windows. Please note that this software supports any Windows version including Windows 10. On this example, I am using Windows 10 as my base OS. But it should be the same even if you are using other version of Windows.

Open Disk Drill Program
From the main window, you will see all the drives connected to your computer. To start scanning a drive, click Recover button next to it. You may choose to use the quick scan or deep scan.
After that, the scanning process will start.
The scanning process can take long time depends on the scanning method and how big your disk is. Larger disk requires more time to complete. Once the scanning is completed, you can see the result.
How to Restore Files and Folders using Disk Drill
From the search/scanning result, select the files or folders you want to recover. And then specify the recovery location.
