You can use this software to manage MySQL Servers, backup MySQL database, migrate or transfer database, and many more. Navicat MySQL comes with a simple and user-friendly interface. The first thing to do after installing Navicat MySQL is to connect this software to our server. In this example, I will show you how to connect Navicat MySQL to MariaDB Server. We can connect to a local server or a remote one.
Connect Navicat MySQL to MariaDB Server
First, open Navicat MySQL and then go to File | New Connection | MariaDB. The new connection window will open up. Click the following image to get better resolution.
If you are connecting to a remote MariaDB Server, you will need to ensure that your server is accepting a remote connection. You can configure MariaDB/MySQL remote access by following this tutorial. Once connected, you can start managing the MariaDB Server.
